Would you like to know if you have
Mormon Pioneer ancestors?

Log into FamilySearch.org and sign in
with your LDS password.
Scroll down the home page (about another ½ page)
There you can click on a box that asks you
if you would like to see your pioneer ancestors.
(Not all your pioneer ancestors may be
there and the results also depends on how complete
your genealogy charts are but good luck on the quest!! )

Searching for Stories about your pioneer
ancestors may be easier than you think.
* If you know their names, you may find some
of them located in three volumes of a book in
our Family History Library at the Stake Center.
The book is called “Women of Faith and Fortitude”
they are listed by last (married) names.

* Your online search could include the site:
This is the organization of the Daughters of the Utah
Pioneers and they will share stories and
even send pictures of your ancestors.
(There is a small fee for sending them
but not for reading them)

You might try a “Google search” of a pioneer name.

Let us know what other online sources you may find.

Your greatest resource may be people in your family.
Ask questions of the oldest living members
or others working on genealogy.

If you don't think you have pioneer ancestors...WRONG!
If you are a member of this church,
all Utah Pioneers are your heritage.
They belong to YOU!!

The more you study them-- the more you love them.
It's a promise!!
